The Impact of the Annual World Congress on Psychiatry
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a disability that causes communicational and behavioural challenges. There is often nothing about how people with ASD look apart from other people, but people with ASD may communicate, interact, in a way that is different from most other people. Identification of ASD includes several conditions that used to be prognosis separately: autistic disorder, pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS), and Asperger syndrome.
- Children or adults with ASD might:
- Not point at objects to show interest.
- Not looking at objects when another person points at them
- Having trouble relating to others
